What is Migrantour?
Migrantour is a guided tour led by migrants, providing an immersive experience in Copenhagen’s diversity. It’s about engaging with those behind migration journeys and reflecting on the rich cultural contributions, histories, and heritage they bring to the city!
Tour Highlights
- Discover Nørrebro: explore local landmarks and hidden gems that reflect the district’s unique cultural blend.
- Meet the Guides: gain first-hand insights from migrant guides who share fresh perspectives on life, migration, and belonging in Copenhagen.
Tour Options
- Standard Tour: a 1h 30min walk, perfect for individuals and small groups seeking a deeper exploration of Nørrebro’s multicultural landscape.
- Group Tickets: flexible group packages available for 5, 10, or 15 people, as well as family packages.
- School Workshop: a 4-hour educational tour with interactive workshops focused on migrant narratives, social cohesion, and resistance, designed to complement the Migrantour experience.
- Sustainability Tour: a collaborative event with Food for Thought and Migrantour, highlighting migration heritage and local sustainability, particularly through food and cultural ties. Held once per month.
