Share your story. Walk your city. Inspire new perspectives.

Do you have a migrant background? Do you want to be part of a team uncovering and sharing the multicultural layers of Copenhagen, especially Nørrebro? Are you excited about leading walking tours that spark meaningful conversations around culture, migration, and community?

Then we’d love to hear from you!

Who We’re Looking For?

We’re inviting new guides to join our team in summer 2025. You might be a great fit if:

  • You have lived or are currently living the experience of being “new” in Denmark
  • You live in Nørrebro or have a strong personal connection to the neighborhood
  • You feel confident speaking to and leading groups of people
  • You’re passionate about topics like inclusion, migration, and identity
  • You speak English fluently (or almost fluently)
  • You’re curious, open-minded, and eager to learn something new

What We Offer

An opportunity to lead people on tours around Nørrebro and show them a different perspective on the city. This includes:

  1. A 20-hour training*, taking place in August 2025.
The training will include exercises and presentations on public speaking, storytelling, and presentation skills.
It will also include the co-creation of two new routes.
  2. Upon completion of the training, you will be compensated 700 DKK per tour; including 1-2 guaranteed tours in August and September.
  3. An opportunity to be part of a diverse and creative team of other tour guides and the team at Crossing Borders.

*The 20-hour Training is uncompensated. Food and refreshments are provided.
